There's a reason I don't like using cheats 1. Complicated changes require complicated mods, and if you can't see yourself taking the time to learn at least a little about how they work, and how to install and use them, you're truly better off being content with what you have. When you want ambitious changes made to your game, you cannot afford to be 'lazy' about it. Otherwise, there's nothing to trigger the transition to adulthood. So, the only option for YAs is to BE in Uni, whether it's the in-game Uni, or via Squinge's main 'hood workaround, so that time can be tracked for the YA by semester, since that's how YAs 'age'. Young Adults do not age like other sims, because Uni time runs differently than it does in normal 'hoods.
So, you want someone to modify the game for you (which IS, by definition, to 'edit how the game works'), but you don't want to use cheats? Either I'm misunderstanding, or that doesn't make a lot of sense.Īt any rate, I'm not a modder, but I don't think what you're asking is do-able.
